COWPAT  FIELD  COMPS.   JULY  8TH.

Forecast high winds did not arrive in the a.m. as predicted, so  Class A Texaco proceeded under 3/10ths. cloud. After lunch the wind did indeed pick up, followed by a few spots of rain,  but by the time the last round of Antique Texaco was flown, conditions were very good, with the wind dropping away to almost nothing for the flyoff.   Someone suggested recently that we ”hobble” Arnold Broese, but in light of today’s results the focus could well shift to Mick Walsh!  C/D Mike Moore again conducted proceedings smoothly.

COWPAT FIELD COMPS.    July 22nd. 2007.

Contest Director Mike Moore reported "9/10 cloud — moderate wind, & cool" 11 starters contested the open Texaco, and the !/2 A Texaco field was 8 competitors with the wind easing considerably - a splendid roll-up! Unfortunately, judging from the results, it would seem that your recorder is not the only one with depth perception problems - Tony, I can recommend a great Opthalmologist!
